Background Work

For most projects I make backgrounds through a combination of CG and 2D. I start with 2D layouts or boards, then I reconstruct them in Blender, often intentionally breaking perspective and proportion, to make it feel more 2D. I then use custom shaders and overpainting to finish it up.

Revisions and Cleanup

Revisions (nigen), inbetweening and clean-up I did for small studios. My work consisted of reworking and putting the key animation I got on model and additionally  inbetweening it and cleaning it up.

Illustration Work

Before shifting my professional focus to animation, I was doing commission work and creating character illustrations. Recently, the illustration work I did was mainly cover artworks for music releases. I'm coming back to more illustrative work after starting to attend Artist Alleys.

Teaching

In 2022, a couple years after graduating, I was hired by my former university to offer a hand drawn animation course.
I teach the fundamentals of drawing and animation and every semester my course is filled with beginners, intermediates and even people who just started drawing. I only have one lesson per week, to teach students as much as I can, so I designed a pretty packed and effecient course with a level system (because of the wildly varying skillsets) to give everyone all the tools they need to animate and also to continue to improve themselves!
I'm happy to say that my course is very popular and I regularly hear from the students how much it helped them.
